Whether big or small, we’re committed to performing 35 Acts of Kindness this February (but why stop at February?!) in honor of our 35 years at a Ronald McDonald House! We’d love if you joined in! Here are just SOME ideas of things you can do!

  1. Shovel your neighbors snowy driveway!
  2. Dust off your coworkers cars if you leave first.
  3. Buy someone’s coffee in line behind you.
  4. Leave little goodies for a stranger to remind them they are loved.
  5. Prepare a meal at a local Ronald McDonald House, homeless shelter, food shelf etc…
  6. Bring cookies to the custodian at your kid’s school.
  7. Visit a local nursing home and talk with them!
  8. Pick up litter.
  9. Let someone go ahead of you in line.
  10. Leave a letter in a library book.
  11. Hold open the door for someone.
  12. Donate new pajamas for foster kids.
  13. Take care of someone’s pet while they’re away.
  14. Always round up at the cash register if given the option!
  15. Send a card or care package to members of the military overseas.
  16. Bring treats to the Fire Station.
  17. Wave to kids on the school bus.
  18. Donate blood.
  19. Give a lottery ticket to a stranger.
  20. Give High Fives out like candy!
  21. Bring flowers to your kid’s teachers.
  22. Send dessert to someone at a restaurant.
  23. Feed the birds.
  24. Call your loved ones instead of texting.
  25. Leave change in the vending machine.
  26. Leave love notes on post-its in the elevator.
  27. Adopt an animal (or support one online with a donation)
  28. Teach someone something new.
  29. Sing outloud so strangers can hear your cheer!
  30. Walk dogs at the local animal shelter.
  31. Give a treat to your bus driver.
  32. Leave a thank you note in your mailbox with a coffee coupon for your mail person.
  33. Smiling is contagious, spread that joy around!
  34. Leave Pennies heads up on the sidewalk.
  35. Donate to your favorite charity.
