Courtesy Rules

We strive to keep this your “home away from home”, please help us make sure that all of our guests always feel welcome and comfortable.

Courtesy Rules of the House

Smoking is not permitted in the house, on the property or the church property.
Room Checks will be conducted on a weekly basis. This is to ensure the safety and security of everyone in the house. Guests are expected to have tidied their rooms and removed all trash. Eating and drinking in bedrooms is prohibited.
We expect guests to pick up after themselves; after cooking, playing or using our common spaces.
All our guests are on different schedules. Some need to be at the hospital for feedings during the night. Please keep your voices down when moving about your rooms and the halls to ensure everyone can have a restful stay.
Guests are responsible for their own laundry. Soiled linen and items may be brought to the laundry room in the basement.
Checking out: change sheets, hang fresh towels, washcloths and bathmats, wash all linen and blankets. Dust, vacuum, empty trash and replace the liner in your room. Clean the bathroom that your family used. We expect the room will be left the way it was when you checked in.
Guest children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Children are not permitted to be left in bedrooms or common areas alone, under any circumstances.
Medications must be kept in your room. If your medication or breastmilk needs to be refrigerated, please see the volunteer.

Failure to follow house rules may result in immediate dismissal.
